Calculate Home Loan Monthly Payment Amount

You can use Microsoft Excel to calculate the monthly payment amount for a home loan.



The PMT Function Arguments dialog box shown below:

 

You need to divide the Interest Rate (B15) by 12 to calculate for monthly payments.
You also need to multiply the No of Payments (Nper) (B14) by 12 to calculate for monthly payments.
